History: Wiki Personality: Eager: It’s rare for Haru not to smile no matter what work he’s doing. He’s the type of person to always want to be busy and contribute. This is partially because at home he is more or less locked away when he isn’t on a job, but mostly an excitement to experience things he’s only ever seen on television. When doing chores he’ll say he’s just thrilled for the chance to learn something new. Manual labor is even exciting. When he starts to work at the unofficial detective agency, Sotano, he enthusiastically volunteers (or even begs) to work on every job or mission they receive. Some would say he’s easily excited, and that’s true, but most of all he’s just not the type to ever sit still. Perverted: Haru is a huge self-admitted pervert. When it comes to sexuality he is incredibly open and overly encouraging. His first thoughts when meeting someone are almost always regarding their bodies and how hot or sexy he thinks they are. Women, men, young and old he does not care and will happily fantasize about what their chest looks or feels like while he’s having an otherwise normal conversation. (Strangely, he has a double standard for women and men in that he ‘knows better’ than to touch a woman inappropriately without at least asking first). He says his type are ‘men and women with huge tits and asses’ and he has no shame in saying so to anyone. He’ll sniff shoes, underwear, or clothes just because he likes the pheromones on them. Immature: Due to having to grow up with television as movies as his view of the ‘real world’, Haru is rather immature. Miscommunication and inappropriate jokes said at the wrong time are common occurrences for him. While he does think things through, he doesn’t always connect all the dots that a normal member of society would. It’s brought up that he doesn’t even know if his apartment allows pet (HUGE deal in Japan), the first thing about taking care of an animal or what its basic needs are (he didn’t even know it would need a litter box), or even who he is (thanks to his believed amnesia by the cast). In the end most of these things seem to work out for him, but his immature carelessness does get him and others into trouble occasionally.. Impulsive: No matter which route of the game you take, Haru’s lack of self-restraint is made clear. While he follows orders seriously (depending on who they come from), he has no hesitance in saying and acting on the first things that come to his mind. There are multiple occurrences where he sneaks out to see someone he knows he shouldn’t just because he feels like bothering them. There are multiple examples, so here are few: During a festival he blatantly and unabashedly will touch a coworker inappropriately simply because he feels like it. In fact, he constantly harasses his co-workers at the bar with blatant sexual harassment (like pinching or gripping their ass or chest) just because he feels they look good in the moment. Didn’t have lube? Time for a butter hand job because Haru saw the butter and decided it was a good idea! Big, buff, burly man with a lot of body hair? Well, beware getting tied up and having pubes shaved bare because Haru wanted to see what it would be like. At one point he purchased a catheter and used it on another person during sex without asking first because he’d bought it since he’d thought it would be ‘fun’. Haru strangely does know when he’s pushing someone too far and knows when to pull back, but he rarely stops himself from acting on his initial thoughts. Powers and Abilities: “Haru” has been trained since birth as a tool used for spying and assassinations. While he is still human, he is in peak physical fitness which he does have to work to maintain. He is able to be rather sneaky and difficult to detect. While he has an awful memory due to a birth defect affecting his short-term memory (or possibly caused from being continuously abused as a child, it’s unclear), his long-term memory is relatively intact and he understands who his loyalty is to. He is very knowledgeable of the human body--pressure points, organ placement, and extensive knowledge of how to inflict incredible pain. He has been tortured and he has tortured. How to kill a human quickly and effectively comes naturally to him. He can use most Earth weapons well and is adept in hand-to-hand combat and martial arts.
